Process: (n) a series of actions one takes in order to achieve a result. It’s the process, not the product. But when the result I aim to achieve is not a lofty goal of fame or success but rather the humble hope of waking up less weary tomorrow morning, the verb process becomes much more familiar.

Process: (v) to deal with, to subject to, to handle. Contrary to the noun, it takes me further away from results. Trying to process the present is like trying to finish a puzzle without all of the pieces. The root of the word process comes from the early 14th Century, meaning the “fact of being carried on.” And when we strive to carry on, we are forced to carry so much on our backs.
